OSH Medical University

The OSH Medical University came into being in the year 1992 when the OSH State Institute was reorganised to become the OSH State University. Ever since its inception, the university has been welcoming students from within and outside the country. By virtue of being listed in the WHO’s list of medical schools and also being a part of the global database of medical schools, this institute has been able to impart education which has been helpful to students in occupying respectable positions in their field in various countries. Even today, students come to the OSH Medical University from countries like Nepal, India, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Palestine, Uzbekistan and more. Medical faculty of the Osh State University is also listed with the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, USA (ECFMG), IMED or the FAIMER International Medical Education Directory.

Jalalabad Medical University

The Jalal-Abad State University was started in the year 1993. It is a public institution which provides higher education in the fields of education, energy, electronics, medicine and agro-industrial complex. The main campus and three faculties of the university are located in Jalalabad while the rest are spread over in between Tash-Kumyr, Kara-Kul, Kochkar-Ata and Mayluu-Suu.

Asian Medical University

Located in the city of Kant, Kyrgyzstan, the Asian Medical University was started in the year 2004. Listed among the WHO’s list of medical schools, it is one of the best places to get a degree in medicine in Kyrgyzstan. International School of Medicine – University of Kyrgyzstan

In the year 2003, the government of the Kyrgyz Republic decided to start an institution for the training and development of specialists in the field of health, science and medicine to provide services to the people of the country and neighbouring areas. This is when the International School of Medicine was formed as a part of the International University of Kyrgyzstan. An official state educational institution, the International School of Medicine has recognition from Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, for its five year course in General Medicine. It is also registered with the World Health Organisation (WHO), Foundation for advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), Organisation for PhD education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in the European System (ORPHEUS), and Institute for International Medical Education (IIME).
